Bet you’re grateful for that. We sure are. That has been just awful for them.
TN had ice, snow, and power outages but nothing as widespread and long-lasting as TX.
I have family in the Brentwood area and it has been a cold winter for them.
The worst leg of my trip last weekend was at the NC/VA border north of Winston-Salem. Trees were coming down all over.
It was the heart of an ice storm. I drove around at least 10 and actually underneath one with a ft of clearance.
I watched the trees more than the road. They had an inch of ice on the branches and the pines couldn’t take it.
It is my understanding that a tree snap has no delay or warning.
