I’m having a hard time losing a “friend” of over 30 years....30 years of the hours between 11 and 2 now a void that needs filling. Rush was as part of America as our beloved Flag.....Americana in human form, teacher, cheerleader and wit and intelligence beyond compare. RIP Rush.......we’ll try and carry on as best we can and your memory we will keep in our hearts and actions.

I cannot describe how much I miss him. It’s weird how someone you never knew in person could be such an inspiration, teacher, entertainer and all-around pro-USA guy who could pierce the veil of Liberalism.

Thanks for posting this today Kaslin....I know for myself I still feel the loss but at the same time rejoice Rush is fully well and whole.... and enjoying Jesus.... and all those who preceded his Homecoming.

Oh yes, that’s so true. I’m so grateful Rush shared his relationship with Jesus Christ......he wanted us to know he was in a better place and took all the doubt away....thank you Rush.....

Any idea who’s doing the narrating of the Rush segments? He’s very good.

It looks like the first radio station began broadcasting in 1910. That means that Rush Limbaugh was a broadcasting powerhouse for a full 30% of the existence of radio.

In case you didn’t know, Kathryn Limbaugh will be behind the Golden EIB microphone on Monday.

I was wondering too. WLS had a show after Rush’s Wednesday where people called in with their Rush stories. It was wonderful. Even tho it was known he was very ill, it was still jarring when Kathryn opened the program with the announcement. Looking forward to hearing her on Monday. There will never be another Rush.

Old station manager told Rush: “Remember this. No one is interested in your opinions about anything and they never will be. Just read the lines we give you.” Ha.

As far as that manager was concerned, he was right. Within his dominion, that's the formula that worked, that made a living for him.

The board of directors of Xerox paid for the next big thing in information management, the personal computer. They paid for the ethernet, which became the internet. They paid for the mouse, the GUI, the miniature hard drive, the laser printer. They paid the best minds in the business to come up with the next big thing, and they did so. They brought it to the Board, showed them how it worked, explained how it would change the workplace experience all over the world... and the leaders of Xerox didn't know what to do with it. Even though at the time Xerox was calling itself "The Document Company," the idea of what the future would look like just couldn't be encompassed by the imaginations of the men who paid to be the first to see it.

Steve Jobs gave Xerox a bunch of stock in Apple in return for spending a couple of days at Xerox PARC, picking their brains. He went off and took what he saw and made it into one of the most valuable companies in history. Xerox management sold those shares for a pittance, long ago.
