DC Cidery Unveils 'Cruz In Cancun' Cocktail

Texas Sen. Ted Cruz (R) already has a cocktail named after his widely criticized trip to Cancun amid the deadly winter weather crisis in his home state.

Anxo, a Washington, D.C.-based cidery, unveiled its "Cruz in Cancun" drink on Thursday. The rapid-response coconut rum concoction comes complete with ample mockery of the lawmaker's much-panned trip to Mexico.

Cruz was photographed boarding a plane to Cancun on Wednesday as millions of Texas residents battled power outages and dangerous conditions due to record cold temperatures and snow this week. The lawmaker was set to return to Texas Thursday afternoon, saying in a statement that "wanting to be a good dad," he accompanied his daughters on the getaway that they had requested.

In a Thursday tweet promoting the $12 beverage, Anxo wrote, "He may have left his constituents to suffer with no electricity, no safe drinking water, no heat, etc... But that doesn't mean Ted can't have some good old-fashioned fun in the sun!"

An altered image on the label of the to-go libation shows Cruz sporting a sombrero and sunglasses while clutching a tropical cocktail.

Funny, but TOTALLY irrelevant.

This is just the Commies trying to take out Cruz when we all know that this is BiZiden’s, AOC’s, Nanzi’s, Schmuckie’s and Bernies’s fault.

The media is doing a very good job using this to distract from the “President” being a frail, corrupt, dementia-addled doofus.

Why are the libtards going overboard on this subject?

A guy who promised his daughters that when he's done with the election stuff he'd take his daughters to Cancun. Schools were going to be closed cuz of the weather.

I mean it is not like he was responsible for killing more people in NYC than Osama Bin Ladin.

One good thing that could come out of this is that Cruz gets focused on being Senator from Texas and forgets about trying to violate the Constitution.
He is not a natural born citizen.

Cruz is not even a TX state official...yet is being universally blamed for the suffering there.

In Trump were still president, the media would be lambasting him for "failure to help" in TX.

Biden is getting a complete pass. It's like there is NO president at all when the subject is Texas.

At least part of this is an attempt by the media to make those rebellious folks in Texas, like Gov. Abbott, look dangerous and irresponsible.

Stand by for the media taking on those killer sharks that DeSantis in Florida has carelessly allowed to endanger us all.

And the menace of rabid bears that the ignorant Governor of South Dakota has kept hidden from the populace.

And, soon to come, the horrors of Oklahoma and Iowa.

Trump is gone. A new scapegoat is needed and the smartest member of congress may just be it.

Gee, what was Cruz thinking?

Doesn’t he know that it is his job to personally go around with a torch to thaw out the windmills, and a shovel and broom to clear the solar panels????

And I’m sure the ERCOT board wishes that he had been sitting in on their meetings on how to fix the situation, seeing as how Cruz is one of the nation’s top Electrical Engineers.
