Democrats never resign. Cuomo, case in point. It may be bad optics to go to Cancun, but it’s pretty bad optics and morals to knowingly deceive the public about conduct resulting in thousands of deaths.
Elliot Spitzer resigned but off the top of my head I can’t think of another.
