Tanks....storage tanks. What do home owners use to store gas in at their homes? What do fuel companies deliver gas to customers in? Texas took all federal grants tax breaks doing the solar/wind on a grand scale rather than requiring on site storage of back up fuels for generating plants that use gas. The fuel is taken straight from the ground and this delivery system failed because of the temperatures. IF....IF monies wasted on wind/solar were funneled to gas storage and insulating gas piping and high tech scrubbers for caol fired plants along withnew plants being built this would not have happened.

You are talking about the storage of natural gas liquids like propane and butane which is stored in tanks or salt domes. This is not the same as storing methane which is the natural gas fuel used in power generation and residential consumer use. Methane is stored underground in depleted oil and gas reservoirs. I agree that money is wasted on the green energy fantasy and that money would be better used improving the infrastructure of proven, efficient fuels like natural gas and nuclear.
