I still don’t understand what Maxwell was doing in the U.S. She probably has the means to live anywhere in the world. Yet she chose to live in the one country that would throw her in jail.
Is she really that stupid? Or that overconfident? Or was she promised protection...protection that never materialized?
Anyway, if I were advising her, I’d tell her to sing - make a deal before she accidentally falls down a flight of prison steps while at the same time stabbing herself in the back.
Her father Robert Maxwell a publisher and Mossad agent was very likely suicided on his boat named ‘ghislaine’
“I still don’t understand what Maxwell was doing in the U.S.”
The only thing I can think of is that it’d probably be easier to take her out anywhere else in the world. Then I remember that Jeffery Epstein didn’t kill himself in a US prison. That blows apart my theory.
All of the above.
They think they are untouchable.
Her real comeuppance is coming yet, when she faces har Maker.
It's getting from one place to a other that's the tricky part. And I'm pretty sure she would have been immediately extradited by most other countries. Who would want to piss of the US over her? This is not the 1970's and I think even France would send her back.
Anyway, if I were advising her, I’d tell her to sing - make a deal before she accidentally falls down a flight of prison steps while at the same time stabbing herself in the back.
I'd be willing to bet that's exactly what she's hoping for. Trouble is though, the game is stacked in favor of the prosecutor. She's probably thinking if she talks she can go free. The prosecutor is probably only offering a slightly nicer cell in exchange for publicly admitting everything and exposing everyone she know in open court. Now they are having a contest of wills to see who's going to get what they want. Meanwhile she is in effect already serving a sentence.
