“Mitch, one highly suspects, is in his final term.”

There are a lot older than him. I would be surprised if he left for money. I bet he stays if the polls say he will win. Too much power. He has nothing to look forward to.

Another very quick scan of the internet failed to find any GOP senators, except Graham and Johnson, taking on McConnell for his weasel-word speech last Saturday. It's very quiet, where's Cruz?...Hawley?...Paul?...Bueller...Bueller...

The GOP is once again, at least for now, acting like the Uniparty slime I've come to detest. The stunned ducks are probably wobbling around, fretting over making the Rats angry again, like Mistress Peeloosey after the impeachment trial vote.

Hmm, there was another story out today that 29% of Republicans believe in QAnon, with all of his “trust so and so even though they look like traitors to conservatives”, so maybe that drop is not a coincidence.

The Republican Party must purge itself of those Trump supporters: all 75 million of them.

“””Trump needs to make it clear he’s not running again, and soon. It will be better for everybody, including him and the preservation of his legacy.”””

Sorry Travis I respectfully do not agree. Trump did not announce he would be a candidate until June 15, 2015 and that proved to be more than enough time to put together a winning campaign.

On June 15, 2023 Trump could announce that he will be a candidate or that he is supporting another candidate and that also will prove to be enough time to win the Nov 2024 election.

What we see all too often is that loser candidates announce very early in hopes they rise to the top.

Putting aside fake and fradulent elections and whether or not Rats will be allowed to steal them again in 2022 in AZ, GA, PA and WI it’s not clear why anyone would believe the fake polls run 18 months before said fake elections.

Well, if Mister Rubio were steel-strong on border security (e.g. the wall and a strong BP) he might have prevailed in the primaries.

None of us are single issue voters (1A and 2A notwithstanding) however I do believe that DJT's border security promises (and Rubio's waffling and worse on the issue) were among the deciding factors in the selection of our GOP candidate.

Wait until they start to see the numbers of voters who have dropped their R registration.

“You cannot say, ‘Trump voters, come out and vote and support us’ while saying ‘Trump’s a horrible person,’”

Noooooo, really?

it will be someone who doesn’t care what others think.

Plenty of Democrats answer to that name.

Right now the question is: He runs, or he doesn’t run?
