He sold out to get a sweet gig at MSNBC. Or at least this is a big part of it. $6 million a year isn’t chump change. It sure beats the $174,000 he earned as a congressman. And there in Jupiter, Florida it’s all free of state income tax.

I guess his principles (if he had any) didn't count. He probably could have gotten a gig as a pundit somewhere, on FOX or anywhere as an independent. There have been many former government and political people who have earned more than the 6 million.
