Why do people bother to stay with the GOP? They hate you more than the Dems do
Better question, Why do the other R senators not remove McConnell from leadership position? I don’t get it !!
At the beginning of each new Congress, each party elects the persons they want in leadership. McConnell was just reelected to leadership by Republican Senators. They know he is anti-Trump and anti-ordinary middle-class Americans. They reelected him anyway
But but but ... the GOP is Trump’s party now. The RINOs can be primaries and purged. A third party can’t win. The Republican Party is the lesser of two evils. We have nowhere else to go. Blah, blah, blah.
This is the same defeatist attitude that said Donald Trump couldn’t win the Presidency. A MAGA party won’t win in one election cycle, but if you hope to replace the GOP it must first be destroyed. Giving McConnell a free pass on his brazen treachery is asking for more. He and his minions have crossed the Rubicon and must be met head on.
