I guess I should add—the AA president’s total inability to understand mathematics was a major contributing cause to the company’s failure.
The management cult is made up of people who think that being able to do simple arithmetic in spreadsheets is somehow qualifying to take charge and run actual engineering companies.
It’s the revenge of the non-nerds...
The problem is they cover up all the problems they cause until the game runs out and the company gets trampled in the market. CYA is apparently a mandatory course in the Biz schools.
