Collins would have been a much stronger candidate in a runoff against Warnock. There was no excuse for conservatives not supporting Perdue in the runoff against Ossoff. 350,000 voters, primarily deep red districts, who voted for Trump in the November general election failed to show up on January 5th.
That’s because Purdue bad mouthed Trump to one audience and and praised him to others. The people didn’t trust him.
Trump supported him because of Sonny.
