I live in the DFW area and rolling blackouts began at 2 am and continued to 7 am. Unfortunately at that point the rolling blackout became a permanent blackout.

10 hours later I got through to Oncor to report our outage. Its down to about 50 degrees inside the house. Oncor unable to give me an update on my outage.

A mile or so down the road the power is on, but nothing in my neighborhood.

Fast food joints have lines backed out into the main road so it was peanut butter and jelly for dinner tonight.

Power co do it during hurricanes too .
Power is on near schools fire station police stations and food and gas .
Your power is out down the street .
