That’s funny. Was that related to the Roadhouse Oldies up by Glen Burnie?

The owner there had a special doo-wop oldies DJ turn every week on our Baltimore oldies station. He always advertised for himself the Roadhouse Oldies.

On a check, it was Alan Lee who DJed and they are both his stores, and looks like they are still around!

I was never in the Glen Burnie store, but I frequented the one in Silver Spring because it was right near the Metro stop. The manager of the one in Silver Spring was Les Moskowitz.

I was a regular listener to Alan Lee’s show when I was living in Rosslyn, Va. If you watch Emerald Robinson’s reports on Newsmax TV, I’m pretty sure the red brick building in the distance behind her is the apartment building where I was living.
