We’ll have to see what happens when the time comes, but Manchin and Sinema (in particular) have said that the filibuster isn’t going anywhere. Sinema’s people didn’t equivocate saying that she wouldn’t even entertain arguments to end the filibuster.
Sinema has proven to be an odd duck. Just looking at her background you’d assume “raging commie” but she hasn’t exactly operated that way. You’d almost suspect her of being leftist libertarian.
