The gop hates their own voting base. They seem to wish they could trade them out for the dnc voters. They do not represent us. mcconnell destroyed the Tea Party, and now he thinks he can destroy the MAGA movement. In the end, I hope a new party rises out of the ashes of the gop and actually represents our views. But it may be too late for all that.

Exactly. Who is "celebrating" these people anyway? It's certainly not the viewing public nor movie and television studios because these people haven't starred in anything in decades.
They've been cackling louder and louder as advertising continues its dramatic shift away from television and movies into streaming services. These "celebrities" aren't just competing for viewers with thousands of new faces on the internet, they're competing with their former selves as well as deceased actors and actresses whose shows are available at the click of a mouse or the swipe of a finger.

43 Republicans voted for an acquittal. Not a single Democrat did so. Even Donald Trump hasn’t totally abandoned the GOP. Again, the problem isn’t the GOP. The problem is RINOs including ones in leadership of the party. It’s up to the GOP base to clean house. They have the power to take out the trash if they are serious and up to the task.
