I was thinking more like the substance of the doctored evidence by the House managers that is not in dispute. Therefore the substance of the charge is in dispute.

The substance of the charge itself lacks substance. Without a full investigation into the 2020 election tampering “accusation“ absolutely nothing can be rightly adjudicated concerning the people’s response to it. How many times during the past week did Dems (and Pubbies) both speak about “Trump’s false claims that the election was stolen.” This is what their entire bogus charge hinged on in the first place. Without a proper investigation into that, how can they properly interpret the actions of the folks who entered the Capitol? Can’t do it.
