Why this *itch? Everything she says is heresay. The only “witness” that is legit is McCarthy since the call was “supposedly” between him and PDJT. And, how can a “statement” that has not been subjected to cross examination under oath be placed into evidence?

McConnells source of political power is in the huge amounts of cash he controls to dole out to different races. IMO, she is looking to try to take out Cantwell, or Murray from our State for the Senate in 2022. It is hard to do that without infusions of cash. So, what you do is betray your base of country folk, appeal to the Vancouver/Olympia/Seattle/Tacoma loons, and she joins Senate royalty.
The kicker is, if she runs for Senate, her House seat is guaranteed to go to a Dem who has opposed her several times and lost but has respectable support. She won’t win for Senate, and we lose another House seat. Republicans are uncomfortable being in the majority, especially Mitch.
