I do not join with the majority on this thread in castigating Lindsay Graham for his maneuver. I want to see if he has anything up his sleeve. He may be untrustworthy but he prefers to operate behind the scenes when he sells us out.

I am mindful that Lindsay Graham loves to take the main chance, for example, in the Cavanaugh hearing he stole the show and he will no doubt try to do the same thing here. We shall see.

Meanwhile a sham impeachment trial becomes burlesque flirting with tragedy. At the end of the day one more institution will have entirely lost whatever confidence the people had left for it
