McConnell is venting four years of superheated steam and putting Trump on notice of the possibility of civil litigation etc.. McConnell has just, in his stumbling way, taken he GOP closer to the edge. IMO, it can only be brought back by GOP responses to Rat actions. This will determine the GOP's future. But McConnell and friends are on thin ice.

Censure for Trump is probably at hand and possibly 14th Amendment proceedings. Whatever, McConnell is oblivious to the tens of millions of voters who are not happy with the GOP. Nevertheless. for practical purposes, the ball is in now Trump's court.
