Closing arguments at former President Donald Trump’s second impeachment trial were expected to get underway Saturday morning — with each side granted two hours to make their final case to the US Senate before an expected vote on the verdict later in the day.
But Day 5 started instead with House impeachment manager Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) asking to subpoena records and call a witness sparking fierce debate with Trump defense lawyer Michael van der Venn.

Wow! So he’s implying that Trump did something/many things wrong—just need AG’s to find it. I guess Trump can’t sue him for defamation b/c the biggest bully pulpit in the world is free to say anything w/consequence. What exactly as it that Trump did wrong. This psychopath will not be happy until Trump is dead and his entire family is shunned by the world. well, the video I saw yesterday of Pence at a some rally on Jan. 4th or 5th where he was saying that there were many irregularities in the voting and that eh woudl not certify these fraudulent votes, etc. is quite the contrast to evil Mitch’s statements. I’m not sure how Trump can stand it.

I am expecting neither of them to discuss the phone call any further...Both McCarthy and Trump want this phone story to go away...
