That's why the situation stinks. These blacks voted in black officials who don't fix the problems. Same situation as Rhodesia. Chase out the whites who fix things, then blame things on whites when the blacks don't fix anything. It's their problem, they just don't want to take ownership and fix things.

I doubt if white officials could fix the problem now. You destroy a neighborhood with crime and drugs and it is tough to recover.

I saw a picture taken in Rhodesia a couple of years after the Whites left. There had been a small state of the art atomic research reactor. Presumably the nuclear fuel had been removed, and what was left was stripped bare like crows had been feeding on a carcass. The wiring and pipes had been smashed, stripped, and sold for scrap.

In other cultures the reactor would have been regarded as an important and prized scientific instrument, certainly not to be destroyed. Different races, different ways.
