My petite wife, literally “the girl next door”, had breast cancer at 28 and when it metastasized to her liver, her stomach swelled as if she was 9 months pregnant.
It was over after 7 months - from diagnosis to the end. The silver lining was only the last 2 months were painful.
Yep, once it hits the liver, remaining time is very short.
