His form of lung cancer is not from smoking IMO. Of course if you were ever around smokers, or smoked yourself doctors consider that the source.
The type normally associated with smoking often can be excised by surgery.
With his money I would think a lung transplant would be possible, but I am ignorant.
Perhaps he just had one? That would explain both his absence and the absence of a 2 or 3 minute recorded update?
Were I in his shoes, I don't think I'd announce it in advance. I'd guess he would, but I dunno...
I think Rush mentioned that his lung cancer had metastasized to his kidneys or liver.
When that happens, it’s only a matter of time; and unfortunately, his time is running out. If he makes it another six months, I’d be surprised.
