The former president’s defense team has 16 hours to make their case but lead impeachment lawyer David Shoen said they would likely only use three to four hours to present their arguments. My prediction is that they will do a terrible job. After they finish, people will discuss the "lost opportunities", as it, "They never mentioned this, they never mentioned that, they didn't explain things, they forgot about this thing."
And Trump's lawyers will shrug and say, "We, ahhhhhhhh, we ran out of time."
