It is a heads up that what happened on election night WILL happen again. The author points out that people who can see their way clear to stealing a vote in plain sight and get perfectly completely absolutely away with it, KNOW going forward that they can get away with ANYTHING.

More likely, the “standard words” (key words and tricky phrases) from the social-democrat-communist party's ABCNNBCBS newsreaders will be “President Trump was the first president to be impeached and convicted twice by a bipartisan majority of the Senate this afternoon ....”
If these shameless crooks aren't above rigging an election in their favor, what makes you think they won't pull off some trick like this to defeat Trump and convict him in the Senate?
Since these people have no regard whatsoever for our Constitution, it would not be a stretch to think they will rig the Senate vote to defeat Trump.
How they would do that is up for conjecture, but it does not seem implausible that they would do exactly what you are suggesting tongue-in-cheek.
I'm not a conspiracy theorist. I believe in reality. No matter how implausible it may be. But the reality is, these democrats are thieves and liars. I wouldn't put it past them to "steal" this impeachment for their preferred outcome, just like they did with the election.
I have a bad feeling in my gut about this impeachment. The democRATS know that they probably won't be able to convict. Not enough votes.
But now that they are in power with no one to stop their schemes, I'm afraid they will pull a fast one and somehow come up with the votes to do just that. If they're democRATS, you can't trust them to do the correct or legal thing.
President Trump wasn’t convicted once yet. He’s been impeached twice, but the first one was voted “not guilty.”
Ah, but remember, I am “quoting” the future democrat party’s news readers! THEY will be forcing the message/implication that “impeachment” IS equal to “He is guilty” and convicted and should be shot. Immediately.
“They” are the ones who will be claiming that Trump was impeached twice, that “a clear bipartisan majority of the Senate” voted him guilty!
Just like now, the ABCNNBCBS are quoting 4, 5, 6 democrats every 1/2 hour in their news feeds who simply repeat their messages. Never a correction, never a republican response. Merely democrat after democrat “stating facts” (repeating the house charges” in ever-so-serious voices.
This is why I am surprised the defense rested with time for the questions today. If the Defense has used its entire 8 hours, the news feeds would not have had the Dem questions to fill all their Mimistry of Truth time.
The Election was stolen. Prove me wrong.
Without Voter ID, verifiable Signature processes, clean Voter Rolls and complete adherence to established State Election Laws, there is no way to claim and Election was Fair and Legal, period.

Yes.
The charge of Incitement doesn’t pass.
But after they analyze both sides and all the blab and talking heads, they can craft a new charge.
They don't play by the constitutional guidelines. The decide what their verdict will be and play backwards from there so the charges stick.
I believe this is their last chance to destroy Trump and they will do everything, anything, including burning the government down to succeed.
I am beyond expecting them to do the right thing anymore. They will get their way even if they have to destroy the very foundation of the government to get there.
We are dealing with full-blown communists now who don't care whether they are transparent or not. Yhey will not stop until they have Trump's head on a pike.

I don’t think they are anywhere close to a conviction.
I DO think that is why the Trump legal team did NOT go into voter fraud. My guess is that the key senators who will ensure acquittal told the Trump legal team they would do so only if his guys didn’t go into fraud and “make the country look bad.”
