What is our recourse when our own government criminalizes our most basic rights while it allows Black Lives Matter and Antifa to rampage through our streets with impunity? Is there no Plan B when the federal or state governments treat all conservatives like terrorists, business owners like pariahs, and those who yearn to breathe unmasked air like murderers? Well, one Missouri county is demonstrating the importance of sheriffs and county officials returning to self-government and interposing between the governmental usurpers and the most sacred rights of the people.

Good news. And the precedence is based on Sanctuary States that made it illegal to enforce federal immigration law.

As the only elected Law enforcement officer on the scene, county sheriff has final jurisdiction.

if you’re a true conservative, run for county sheriff. i bet you don’t even need a lot of leo experience, if our county is any example: sheriff there slept her way into office.

Thanks for posting! This is indeed our next recourse - been sayin' the states must step to the plate for weeks now. The states are the fortress holding back an out of control federal government from taking away citizen's rights. They are our first line of defense before citizens themselves will need to form militias for protection from federal forces under orders from despots on Washington.

States so far who taking a stand:

Missouri
Florida
North Dakota
Texas

We need many more states to stand up. There is much power in the hands of our state and local governments if we only exercise it.

One VERY important issue the states need to address NOW, is the dropping off of illegal aliens within our local communities and jurisdictions.

State and local county police departments, sworn to protect and serve, should arrest federal agents and their operatives who drop off these undesirables within their communities.

Together we represent an overwhelming force:

Who made Biden dictator? Or placed 500 representatives in Washington above the Constitution? The federal government exists solely to serve the states, and their citizens. NOT we them.

The states must exert their authority and we must demand they do so. We have the power, if we have the balls.

State and local governments, do your sworn duty according to the US Constitution as ratified by these very UNITED STATES. Our Constitution, we've all sworn to uphold, supersedes ALL other US code, or EOs. Become VERY familiar with its 7500 words. You're going to need to know most of them.

With very few exceptions, Republican governors and Republican controlled legislatures are total pussies. They are owned by the teachers unions and will do nothing when the feds push on them.

We the people need to push on local and state governments to do what we've elected them to do.

As for blue states, stand up or stand down. Otherwise, it could be a rough winter in the northeast and this summer could get hot on the westcoast. The federal government regulates interstate trade, it can't make us trade.

If WE, who live in red states, have no standing in a nationwide election which determines our way of life, and well being, it's past time to make one.

As for the Commerce Clause, Roberts himself wrote in NFIB v. Sebelius, "That Clause authorizes Congress to regulate interstate commerce, not to order individuals to engage in it."

That is correct! It is supposed to be a VERY limited federal, and state. The people’s individual rights as stated in the Bill of Rights is supposed to be supreme/MOST important ALWAYS.

Your point completely validated by the ballot fraud atrocity and the inaction that followed.

MI-GOP heeded their moneyed master's call despite hundreds of sworn affidavits, video and audio evidence, and statistical impossibilities concerning our vote tally.

They've lost my vote unless Trump, et. al can pull a party faction together.

Indeed it was always intended to be so. We've been gas-lighted to accept the current circumstances. It took DJT for us to "Wake The Hell Up!"

It's now or never...start local, get vocal!

A good first test/effort, and one which would reap immediate benefits, would be to STOP the the feds from dropping off illegals in our hoods.

Start arresting federal agents, third part contractors, and the bus drivers themselves involved in dispersing foreign invaders among us!

What good is a government which won't protect the very people who created it in the first place?!

Thats right about arresting the feds, and that the government is supposed to have a first responsibility to protect from the overrun of the borders and within the U.S.

“It also bars the enforcement of any effort to confiscate guns except from those who are “suspected criminals.””

Aren’t you a “suspected criminal” when ChinaJoe writes up an executive order outlawing guns...and you have guns?

70-something NC counties (74, maybe 76?) have passed 2A Sanctuary “resolutions”. Doesn’t carry the weight of law, but it’s a step in the right direction.
