I thought it was great.
That was Springsteen trying to convince people that he is somewhere in the middle of the road, politically speaking and now, after years of cursing Trump and spitting on Trump supporters, we should all “unite” by erasing Donald Trump and bowing to a new world order.

Did your forget the sarcasm tag? Bruce Springsteen spent the last four years attacking President Trump and his many supporters. So why should he be the person to invite anybody to “meet in the middle”? He never did that when a Republican was in the White House.
