But with his personality and supporters—75 million Americans voted for him in 2020, the most votes a sitting president has ever gotten in history—fueling it, it could end up being successful.

If I were doing it quickly, I would analyze the most commonly used features on existing platforms and put those in place first. Then, I would think about more advanced, less used, features like live streaming.
Following, blocking, liking, attaching media, feeds, etc
The feature set really isn’t that complicated. It’s the infrastructure to handle volume of api calls and volume of data that will add up fast.
But how do you prevent someone making up a Trump comment ( fake news) in an email chain?
I would think Trump would want a way to verify his comments.
As for just “preaching to the choir” you know anti-Trumpers would sign up as well as the news media. I never had a twitter account but I often heard about what the President had tweeted, same thing will happen with his email messages
There’s already Gab and, hopefully, Parler. It would be more productive for him to get involved in one of these existing platforms in lieu of starting one from scratch. Parler in particular will be an excellent alternative to Twitter once and if they can get back up and running. Many of us were already migrating there before it was shut down by Amazon.

I hope that Trump activates an account there. But I'll go to whatever platform he goes to or creates.
This is the logical follow up to his presidency. There is a vacuum, obviously, and he will be nearly as rich as G*d by filling it.
He’ll need to go all in, and I think forego the idea of running for president in 2024. 2025 is simply too far off, and no sane person would put himself back through what President Trump endured every day of his first presidency. He will do better, operate more out of reach of the swamp creatures and have more impact as kingmaker than future king. And both parties need to do far better building their farm teams. President Trump would do well to think of his second legacy as building all of this physical, IP and human capital infrastructure rather than being the one guy who does it all.
The possibilities are endless.
I like it - especially the email chains...AND daily briefings. If he could cause long lines of ambulances to descend on the US Capitol every day for the resulting heart attacks from such a thing, that would be a plus!!
Anything that would cause heartburn (or worse) to dem politicians everywhere!

You can’t be old school and consider Skype and Text....I’m old school and don’t do either...email is my speed and I like that idea better - keep it away from big tech!!
I believe that it would take about 6 months to setup a global “social Media” platform.
It would take about the same time to setup a global chain of Caching servers and deals for DNS hosting.
Use the EU rules for our benefit, encrypted email is already global, we can do that. Blockchain all comms, easy enough.
What do you think it would cost? 2 Billion, 4 Billion?
Lets talk serious guesses here, with a New fully funded party we can loose change about 10 billion our first year in donations. Not counting the PACS etc.
As for winning elections, a couple of our ppl here have presented a single step to taking control of the backdoor of the Political system (no, not hacking) and it lays dormant.

We can foresee having it all rolling by 2022 and some great wins, so what if we do not win all we want, why you may ask, because by 2024 we will either have it all or in your defined future they will have started to come for us.
Should the latter happen they shall find they are numerically going to stalemate, so when the Elites come to the conclusion they may be next on the list whom do you feel we should have as our representatives to negotiate?
Republican GOPe party, or OUR OWN Political party. We have to have one to be able to Negotiate, not just start one in the day they want to barter.

It would have to be a massive financial undertaking, essentially creating an entire financial services and technical infrastructure parallel to the existing structure, in order to insulate against the deplatforming that is now dominating American culture, or what’s left of it.
And yes, that would be a good thing to do. A very, very good thing. I’d be in for partaking in an investment in freedom. A whole s#!tload of us would. The benefits of having half the country be able to tell Amazon, the big banks, and YouTwitFace that we no longer require their services would be—extremely liberating.

I have a flip phone yet so.. But if Trump gets into doing that I might get a smart phone. NAWW!
I too have a flip phone - it’s in my purse and stays there if I need help when I leave the house for groceries or run errands. I need it to call when power is out - which happens often. My husband is on 24/7 oxygen (concentrator) and it can get pretty dicey when that happens. Texting - nope - I don’t even run (ha ha) to pick up the house phone - they can always leave a message.
I guess people must lead more interesting lives than I do when they can’t take a walk without a phone in their hand or shop without it.
I’d invest.
Ya aint it amazing to go into a restaurant and watch whole families sitting at tables with their faces plastered to their smart phones?

Yes...but those people could be kicked out. Maybe start that way...but eventually his own “Internet” based on own satellites could be done. If he gets 100 million subscribers he will have enough money. But we all need to do something to knock out the leftists...just a little bit everyday...boycott...stop paying for leftist entertainment stars...example...show has alec Baldwin in it...write letter critical of performance or dont watch at all
