The republicans voting against Green will not be re-elected no matter how much money they made off their votes.
The same goes for all republicans that voted with demonrats against Trump. Their buddies in Congress may save them for the time being, but when election time rolls around, they will be out.
You forget that democrats can vote in most republican primaries and they can choose not to run an opponent.
One of those, Y.Kim, I helped for years. I’m disgusted with her vote. She barely won her seat this year and may have been thinking of lessening the democrat pressure because of her “objective” non-trumpian stance.
I don’t think the democrats will care one bit. They already know she’s vulnerable because of this foolish vote. Every republican I know is mad at her. She didn’t consider who brought her to the dance.
I hope you are right, but I doubt it. Once in office, these clowns manage to hang on until they die. They aren’t afraid of voters. All they care about are the big donors.
I’m wondering about consequences for betrayal. Is it possible the states who ended up with a betrayer could form groups to start a recall of them? Teams could blanket a state with petitions to sign and show up at every event. We need to work at restoring our country. Thankfully our state has no betrayers AFAIK. We need a list of them so we can go to help out in states who don’t have any who need to be removed.
