I ask again, where does the T.S.A. get the authority to impose fines? I can see where they can turn you away at an airport. And Amtrak is funded by the Feds, so I can see where a Biden E.O. could reach there. But scheduled buses within a state? It appears they have backed down from the all public transit including ride sharing.

I’d like the know where TSA derives any authority to make an arrest much less levy fines for not wearing a mask. I don’t know of any law covered under any title in the United States Code that would make anyone subject to arrest or fine for refusing to wear a mask.

They are trying to say that not wearing a mask is circumventing the security screening. My guess is that it won’t be long before those fines are shutdown. The purpose of the regulations is about preventing terrorists from getting on aircraft or getting a device on an aircraft that could bring it down. TSA was never intended to enforce mask mandates.
