I’m afraid the military I used to be in will soon become an enemy.
The metamorphosis of the US military began under Clinton, and the staff officers and top brass have been basically politicians for a generation. This is not your daddy’s military. I’d heard back in the Clinton era that there was actually a query going round asking enlisted people if they were ordered to fire on fellow Americans if they would obey that order.
I believe that your fears are justified.
The upper brass already is “our” enemy, they DON’T “serve” us!
They’re going to do what rome did. They are going to drive out ANY patriot and replace them with a foreigner, someone with no allegiance.
