Put the papers in front of them and hand them a pen.
“...Put the papers in front of them and hand them a pen...”
Geez, I’m reminded about that old Cheech & Chong routine, where Tommy is playing the part of an old man being tortured by a German-accented officer (played by Richard).
Cheech (as officer): “Sign ze papers, old man!”
Chong (as tortured old man, moaning): “I can’t!”
Cheech (officer): “I said, sign ze PAPERS, OLD MAN!”
(sizzle, old man cries out in pain)
Cheech (background, in normal voice): “Oh man! He just stuck a cigarette in his eye!”
Chong (still moaning in pain): “What do the papers say?”
Cheech (as officer): “They say that you have not been mistreated, while you have been here. Now, vill you sign the papers?”
Tortured Old Man (mournfully wailing) “I can’t!”
Officer: “Und vhy not?!?”
Old Man: “You have broken both my hands!”
