The recall effort must earn at least 1.5 million signatures by March 17 in order to be placed on the ballot.

Fine. What's the number now? Anybody know?

Last I heard it was about 1.2 million with the Secretary of State verifying about 86% were valid. The SoS is a corrupt hack who does everything possible, along with the Attorney General, to thwart conservative ballot measures, but still this validation rate seems about right. There’s always a substantial number of people who aren’t registered, sign more than once, not registered in the county where the petition is signed, outright fake name like Donald Duck, etc

We need 130,000 more signatures.

I got 9 myself. Will get a tenth next week.

My next move is trying to recall my local school board, who are arrogant, in bed with the teachers unions, and insist on keeping schools closed forever.

It is up to 1.3 million of the 1.5 million needed.
