This is hilarious. The GOP’s singular mission is to ensure the left retains control of power.
I don’t think they grasp the size of the issue. The GOP’s credibility and confidence in their ability to advocate is gone. Trump exposed and destroyed the myth that the GOP represents a) the people and b) conservatives especially.
This is not a discussion of ‘Third Party’. The discussion at hand is a REPLACEMENT of the GOP.
The GOP is like one of those effete French aristocrats who got their heads chopped off. Their eyes are still blinking and they can see and hear, but their body is on the other side of the blade.
People already grasp that there was a change in the form of government from a democratic republic to an techno-oligarchy without a vote of the people, without judicial review, without congressional debate, and outside the current constitution.
First step, admin this. Second, everyone deemed remotely responsible for this has to be cast out of the party forever. This is the only way the GOP survives.
The GOP, not the Democrats, rendered only two options: acquiesce to Socialism and rule by fiat or actively support the GOP and be party to exactly the same thing, but with the veneer of legitimate opposition.
I will never vote for the GOP ever again. At least the left is honest in their motives, which is to say I still won’t vote for Democrats.
The line was crossed, what do you expect people to do? The GOP is now in overdrive trying to convince us third parties don’t work. They just spent four years firing the only person in the GOP that was actually effective in representing conservatives and upholding the Constitution.
My advice? Stop criticizing conservative calling for a third party and start presenting a plan of action to return the GOP to a credible political party.
