*History runs in cycles. Seventy-five years from now we’re*** likely to see “Black” and “African-American” as being racist and exclusionary, and “Negro” (the Hispanic word for black) preferred.
**In the same way as fraudulent bankers are referred to as “banksters”, fraudulent scientists— climatologists, virologists, immunologists— will be called “sciensters” in a call back to “gangsters”.
