So if it take 100 days to do 100 million people, based on that rate it will take 200 ish more days for a total of 300 days to maybe get back to normal or sometime in mid-late Nov.
By that time with so much uncertainty, it will kill of every major event in 2021 and into early 2022, in the process destroying most of the tourism, convention and entertainment industry.
I don’t think it is going back to normal. They’ll just roll something out new to keep the lockdowns going. Freeze out all small business and local owned restaurants, while chains remain open.
I don’t know why the assperts are still talking about “herd immunity” after the Fiasco of November 3rd. I believe the correct term would now be, FLOCK IMMUNITY.
Did you mean for your link to send me to a collection of Norman Rockwell paintings......( which I enjoyed very much)
“We don’t know a lot about the long term immunity of this disease, so we are still recommending it,” she said.”
And we don’t know anything about the long term effects of the vaccine, especially on the elderly. While the efficacy of the vaccine may meet minimal guidelines the long term effects of the vaccine are completely unknown. Like a lot of things associated with this pandemic, what is worse - the disease or the cure?
I re-visit Rockwell a half a dozen times a year.
I was born in 1948 and "woke up" around '52 or '53 ... a native Bostonian, so a LOT of Rockwell's New England flavor symbiotically aligns me to the America I see reminisced here on the internet.
I was about 7 or 8 and I ran away from home and a kindly MTA guy sort of befriended me and somehow got my parents to come and get me at the Forest Hills terminal... not so much different than this ...........
Rockwell is a favorite!.....no one captures true America, the America ‘gone with the wind’......like Norman Rockwell
Thank you again!
