It could mean nothing more than the tests are finding “remains” - cut off pieces of the bug - not “viral” samples.
And even if it’s viable virus who cares? Keep your nose and mouth at least 6 feet from my ass, which I’ve already masked with my pants, (in a gesture of social responsibility), and and you’re perfectly safe.
