Moderna announced on Jan. 25 that it had developed a new CCP virus vaccine to combat a new South African variant of the virus, with plans to advance it into a phase one study.
First detected in South Africa, the B.1.351 variant spreads faster and is more contagious, but there’s still no concrete evidence suggesting that it is deadlier.
In addition, about 149 people have died after getting a CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus vaccine in the United States, according to the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System.

What the article doesn’t say is this — What do those who have already been vaccinated via the Moderna vaccine have to do? Get another vaccine for the South African Variant?
And how many variants are there, and therefore, how many more vaccines do we have to take to cater to these variants?
The yearly flu vaccine is either a tri or quad strain version. The makers guess every year which 3 or 4 flu types (A,B,H1N1,H5N2 ect.. Will be the most prevalent and then make that years batch with those strains. It is for this reason that people say oh the flu vaccine is only 40% blah blah. No the flu vaccine for the strain it was designed for is over 90% effective but if they guess wrong then the “vax” is not targeting the circulating strains and minimal protection is given.
Covid will be no different there will be 3 or 4 or more stains in the vaccines yearly. It will be endemic and with a death rate ten to thirty times regular influenza the need will be there for years to come.
It’s shaping up to be like the annual flu vaccine. Around April each year they will make their best guess as to the variants that will be most prevalent the following fall/winter COVID season. Some years they hit it the flu variants on target, some years they miss by a mile.
What we all better hope for is that it does not devolve back to it’s roots in SARS COVID I which had a real documented fatality fatality rate of 30% and it didn’t care about “preexisting conditions” it’s kissing cousin MERS had a nearly 40% CFR also documented extensively. This bug is nearly genetically identical to either of those. The reason The world didn’t have a apocalypse movie like horror show with mers or sars was they were not aerosolized airborne virus they only could be spread by droplets and not very far. SARS COVID II absolutely is aerosolized likely by design but regardless it is and should it evolve to it’s roots and go from a 1.5% cfr to 30 the whole planet will look like a bad syfy movie.
Merc just cancelled creating a vaccine sayign that it is more effective for people to get the virus, and get over it than to vaccinate them to fight this virus- since 99.6% overall survive-

So the eggheads are just playing guessing games year after year. That is really encouraging!
In 2009 swine flu put me in the hospital for 12 days. Collapsed a lung with fluid and I have lasting damages to that lung. I got it while working as a TA for university came over from China. I’ll take the flu vax every year with them guessing over repeating that experience again. Some effectiveness is ALWAYS better than zero. As a professional scientist I simply do not understand the irrational and completely ignorant aversion to vaccines that literally demonstratively and quantitatively over the last half century have saved over a BILLION lives. Accept the fact that no vaccine is 100 percent effective, and yes a small.percentage usually under one part in 10,000 will have an adverse side effect and one in a million will die from a vaccine those are acceptable odds for the proven benefit at large for a given vaccine. Small pox is a perfect example it killed millions over the course of humanity and humans wiped if off the planet by forced vacunes for at the time every living human. Did some people have bad reactions yeah, did some of people die yup that happens did the benefits for saving 30% of the human race should a pandemic start vs a few thousand killed by the vaccines yeah society said that’s odds we will take deal with it or leave society and live “free” in isolation as a pariah it’s the cost of the social contract. The Supreme Court up half exactly that and the U.S. Can and will.force vax with legal impunity. Sars Covid II in it’s current form is only 1.5% fetal for all ages should it mutate back to it’s parent of stars Covid one which had a small pox like 30% death rate the governments every one of them would force vax the planet just like small pox. As it is the carrot is a more effective tool. No international travel, no cruises, no concerts and private industry will all require the vax it’s for the common good to have induced real herd immunity with lasting B and T cell immunity something that just contracting the illness does not automatically guarantee. The vax is like a program for a computer it trains the body to make the antibodies nearly every time upwards of 90% where as only 50 to 70% of.people who randomly get the bug will produce the same antibodies which must be the killer type. People do not understand the critical difference. Just because you had the illness does not mean you carry the immunity it only means you didn’t die while.fighting it a important difference.
