So, the question is, when they did this did they violate a contract? If so, Trump will not lose any money.
I have no idea, but I assume that they consulted their own attorneys before announcing this move so they must feel they're on solid ground.
Those kinds of contract are signed many years in advance...Always have a ‘cancellation clause’.
