Yeah, so what? The Black Plague is still with us, but I don’t see people going around cities, towns and villages yelling, “Bring out your dead! Bring out your dead!”
We’ve lived with diseases, some FAR more lethal and nearly as communicable than the CCP virus, and managed to keep living life. Don’t listen to this idiot, or anyone else spouting the same line.
The black plague is a bacterial infection caused by Yersinia pestis. It is treatable with antibiotics, with a fairly high cure rate if caught in time. There is no chance that the bubonic plague is going to cause another pandemic, given that it is a treatable bacterial infection.
Covid-19 is a virus, so there aren't broad-spectrum antivirals that can treat it the way antibiotics treat bacteria. There is little comparison between a viral disease and a bacterial one.
Pandemics have occurred throughout human history. These days, it is easier for a pandemic to spread around the world, but we also have advanced medical knowledge that helps us to fight the pandemic in ways that were not possible in the past.
