I like your reply because at least it tacitly recognizes the hopelessness of our tragically lost war on drugs. Not to mention the lost war on burglary, robbery and theft. Been illegal for centuries but these still occur at epidemic rates.
And before you respond, no, drug crimes are NOT “victimless” crimes, externalities notwithstanding.
