It should be more like a Patriot caucus within the Republican Party. Go through a pre-primary selection process where we can unite against the establishment Romney/McConnell wing of the party. Beat those people out in the primaries and we don’t have to split our votes in the general.
Supporting a third party in the general is a losing strategy unless the party your throw your weight behind is more likely to pull votes from the Democrats.
As I think about it, that two prong strategy sounds really good to me. Support out guys in the primary then bolster a leftist third party candidate in the general. It would make a great way to throw the establishment into chaos.
I’m in.....already recinded my Republican affiliation....I will never support a Republican again.
