The GOP is weak but there are other factors that you aren't taking into account, Big Tech, a politically controlled press, outside interference including money (Soros) and influence (China) violent Democrat foot soldiers (Antifa/BLM). There were/are many factors and simply starting a new party isn't going to solve them.
