House Democrats plan to walk the impeachment charge against former President Donald Trump to the Senate on Monday evening, but multiple members of the GOP in the Upper Chamber have already come out against holding a trial.
The Epoch Times reported Monday, 29 GOP senators have spoken out against holding a trial, arguing it is unconstitutional to try to convict a former office holder, or a waste of time.

Its actually important for the public to witness all this insanity spewing forth from the poisonous gullets of the cabal. They will soon be praying for military intervention. Most people know kray kray when they see it.

My snarky comment aside, you're of course correct and it's my point that the entire thing is a sham. Does it matter that it's a sham? To you and I it does. We know the difference between what's legitimate and what's not. To those on the other side (read that: hostile, violent, uneducated, ignorant) of the aisle all they want is the "trial" and the talking point that President Trump was "impeached" once again.
That's what they're after, to de-legitimize President Trump and get as many ignorant/uninformed/uneducated of the masses as they can on their side because for them, the real fascists in this country (Democrats) there's strength in numbers and they get those numbers by manipulating public opinion.
The time for playing this out in the media has passed. I’d like to see Trump sue the US Senate and force Roberts and the rest of the court to clear this up.

Trump has to be convicted for this “impeachment” to have any meaning.
Upchuck, a court has to do the convicting, and only once due process is observed, which, in this case, it wasn’t in the House, and won’t be in the Senate, either.
Shelby must not be planning to come back to Alabama. He probably won’t run again anyway. He’s always been a slime weasel. Phone call tomorrow.
Don’t disagree, but the optics of them shutting down the debate when Trump’s attorneys try to force it open will be damning in it of itself.
