His commercials ran endlessly and repetitively on FoxNews, and I’m not a regular consumer of FoxNews but I did find myself watching it quite a bit more in the period before the last election. I heard it so much that it became like nails on the chalk board. They needed to produce more ads switching up their message and themes. Great showman? His voice raises my blood pressure. I respect his positions a lot, and I think it’s very bold for someone who owns/runs a major business to take those risks in the current climate. ... but I have to disagree with the great showman characterization.
We can think of someone like Rush Limbaugh as being somewhat of a showman, but his analyses of political/social topics are serious to a fault and resonate with patriotic Americans.
They still do, and I don’t see his commercials on any other channels of Spektrum.net, formerly Charter.net
“His voice raises my blood pressure.”
At least he is not as bad as Kars for Kids.
When I hear those radio and TV commercials, I immediately change the station.
I’m with you. I like Mike’s story, and the jobs he’s created, but I’m sick to death of his 6-8 ads per hour on FoxNews.
