True. I wish I knew more about Ross at the time he ran for president. He had a really amazing history as a patriot. What he did to get his people out or Iran during the hostage crisis was simply amazing. I only learned of that in recent years.

I wish I knew more about Ross at the time he ran for president.

Many that voted for GHWB the first time were really hoping for Reagan term #3, but did not get that. And then Perot tried to run on our National Debt at the time which Reagan ran up while fighting the nuclear missile war with the Soviets. Then came GHWB's famous "No new taxes" line and Perot shot up like a rocket in the polls. At one time, he was leading the race between Perot, GHWB and Clinton.

What happened next was simply inexplainable at the time but makes perfect sense now. Perot dropped out of the race right at the height of his popularity. He did rejoin the race but by that point, the damage was done and all that he did in the end is split the vote with GHWB and Clinton won.

The dems didnt even need a third party distraction this time around. They used the pandemic as the perfect cover for their cheating.
