I’ve defended both McConnell and Barr in the past on Free Republic.
However the McConnell/Barr skeptics were right and I was wrong.
McConnell either has Senate Republicans(every one of those lazy bastards) vote to acquit the latest impeachment farce, or he can resign as Senate minority leader.
I wish I was wrong and you were right. But it it what it is. Nobody forced the GOP to collude with Democrats to obstruct MAGA and President Trump.
Don’t buy the upcoming fake impeachment “support” from the GOP for Trump. The GOP will never convict. If they were going to that they would have held the trial while Trump was still in the WH. Instead McConnell choreographed it this way so that the GOP can pretend to “support” President Trump by voting not to convict. Then they will spend the next two years running around telling the base how supportive of President Trump they were. Typical beltway scam.

The RNC will be calling during impeachment “talking tough” about the Democrats, but it is just Washington D.C. kabuki theater.
