I posted last week that it appears DECLASS is dead; I took a bunch of flack for that statement. Now the mounting evidence is proving me right.

DCLAS deadlines appear to work as leverage (a stick/ a carrot/ and as bait). I believe delays are intentional and negotiations flow when the stick/carrot/bait is waved at strategic times. I didn’t believe we would see the Docs on the date/week specified. The DS is losing without DCLAS thus far, in my opinion it’s just one of many “arrows in the quiver”.

Perhaps you are right but I have to ask: negotiations with and between whom? The DS now possesses D.C. Even McCarthy and McConnell are declaring Trump guilty and apparently favoring impeachment. John Solomon stated the GOP's position well: they would rather suck at the PAC money teet than represent their voters. Thus the GOP is in its death throes - whether they know it or not.
Don't forget, as I have posted a few times, McConnell voluntarily surrendered his Senate leadership by refusing to challenge the Nov 3 Georgia election results. As Rush has said many times: the GOP does not want to run things; they want to be Orwell's mysterious opposition while packing in the money from PACs and lobbyists. I am receiving many emails crying how much money is needed so we can take back the Senate! --and the House. Since they surrendered the Senate AND betrayed Donald Trump, why should I continue to give them money?
Will they 'negotiate' to force DJT's DECLASS? They won't even buy him a cup of coffee!
