The announcement of COVID being past peak was reported on the day after Biden was sworn in.
But the actual peak was 10 days ago, on January 11th, ten days ago, and squarely under Trump's watch.
What we saw was the Thanksgiving peak, about a week after Thanksgiving, then the Christmas peak (higher) about four weeks later, then the New Year’s peak, the highest one, a week after the Christmas peak. Those were so high that the 7-day running total of new cases can only go down after that.
