He’s hanging on until his son, who is currently the head Republican in the Iowa state house, can take over. His son is just as squidgy as pop is. His opening speech in the state house was all lollipops and roses, and his main idea was to spend more money to provide “affordable” day care. So, people who sacrifice to get by on one income will pay more in taxes to pay for a 2-income family’s expenses. I’m sure this is all leading up to “free” government daycare from infancy on, so they can have the maximum time to turn kids into obedient little leftists.
